バッタか? Is it a locust?

最近は日替わり軽運動している。水泳，散歩，自転車。
今日は自転車の日。
用水路脇の道を何往復もした。

Recently, I am doing light exercise changing events; swimming, walking, cycling.  Today, it was cycling.  Go and back along a canal several times.

 自転車にはもってこい。
所々に危険立入禁止とある杭を避けながら，走る。
This road is very good for cycling.
I ran avoiding frequent posts saying "Danger!  Do not enter!."

 里山風の景色も見られる。
You can see a good old scenery of woods and fields.

と，突然何かが足に飛びついてきた。見るとこれだ。バッタか?

All the sudden, something jumped to my leg.  This was what I found.  Locust?

つまんで草の上に置いてやるがノソノソしている。さっきまでの元気はどうしたんだ?

Picking it up, I put it on the grass.  I moves around very slowly.  What happened to that braveness a few minutes ago?
