今年は少し早かった It was a little too early this year.

京都周辺に3月30日から4月3日まで行ってきた。
家から数時間のドライブの後、最初に言ったのは尾張屋という蕎麦屋。沢山の人が列を作って待っていたが、15分くらいでテーブルに付くことが出来た。私はにしんそばを頂いた。蕎麦とつゆとニシンが見事なハーモニー。
We visited Kyoto and around from March 30 to April 3.
After driving a few hours from our house, the first place we dropped in was a Soba noodle restaurant Owariya. Many people were waiting in a line, but after about 15 min we were able to be guided to one of the tables. I had a bowl of hot noodle with herring. Noodle, soup, and fish, all of them were really in good harmony.


次は京都御苑。
Next we visited Kyoto Gyoen National Garden. 

車を御苑に置いて、妙顕寺まで歩いた。
Leaving our car at the garden, we walked to Myokenji temple.

次は佐々木酒造、佐々木蔵之介の実家だ。四合瓶を2本買った。これはその一本。
Next, we went to Sasaki brewery the home of the parents of Kuranosuke Sasaki, and bought two small bottles of Sake. This is one of them.

この日はよく歩いたので桜めぐりは終了にして、伊右衛門サロンに入った。私は抹茶とわらび餅を頂いた。
As we walked a lot on the day, we gave up visiting another cherry place, but dropped in to a tea house "Iemon Salon". I had "maccha" and "warabimochi".


疎水と平安神宮あたりをドライブして、2日宿泊した旅館に到着。
After driving around Sosui and Heian shrine, we arrived at the hotel that we stayed for two nights.

ディナータイム! 夕食は仕出し屋紅梅庵から運ばれてくる。
Time for dinner. Dinner is delivered by a caterer of Japanese cuisine "Kobaian".




お酒も十分呑んで、睡眠の時間だ。
Drinking enough, time to sleep.
